Ergo
What the fcuk!... ala akong magawa! I'm not in the mood of going out because of the unconditional weather outside (amber rainstorm sucks!). And not quite on-the-go anymore since I've been almost to all the great spots here in HK.Anyway, I don't wanna get bum so I did some interior make-over in my living room. And the result is fabulous. I made the room more cozy and spacious. haha... i didn't know na may talent pala ako sa interior designing which made me think to probably change career in the future.BEFORE <-> AFTER
link: phlog.galryMid-afternoon, I went to the gym to pamper myself. And I spotted this gorgeous-looking guy (6+ footer guy with medium-built body- sexy!, nice hair - in other words, yummy! beyond the typical chinito guy... almost perfect! He's face looks familiar though... kinda celebrity. Anyway, I've been staring (stalking also) at him while doing he's lifts and push-ups(damn he's so hot and sexy!). After my 4-km run-walk at the treadmill (kakahingal!), I went to the other unfamiliar-to-me exercise machine which is apparently I don't know how to use, I sitted there for a moment doing nothing just staring at him pampering...hehehe. Then moment later he walked towards me. I thought he was gonna use the machine so stepped out but he insisted me to go and adjusted the machine for me. Hahaha he might thought na hindi ko alam gamitin yung machine so he gave me a hand. Shock ako, don't know what to say or think (well at that time I thought he was hitting on me?... wish!).Anyway after pampering myself... by stalking to a guy, I went to the pool to swim for about 10 minutes and had a hot bath after. A long day full of bum... fun and stalking. Hehehe surely I'll be going back to the gym tomorrow, hoping to see him again and probably get to know him better (you wish!)
Saga
The Dark Side 4.21
Truly is the force is in me this weekend, I may say. Absolutely everything is about Star Wars!
I woke up at 9 in the morning to watch a 3-hour marathon of Star Wars: Clone Wars the animated series on Cartoon Network. FYI: friend G.L. did the animated series after he made the last prequel of Star Wars which ironically isnt the last installment.
After watching, I did some laundry and went off to the office to do some little work. But apparently the database was temporarily unavailable without any notice so I cant connect... obviously I have nothing to worked on. So I decided to pamper myself, after all its weekend. I drove myself off to the mall just a station away from my workplace. And then I went to this boutique that sells Star Wars shirts... well I cant help myself but to buy one... I mean two (hehe).
And since I havent watched The Revenge of the Sith since its world premiere last Thursday, I decided to watch it now, so I headed towards the movie house to buy ticket (first time to watch a movie in a foreign land). The movie house is fine... nothing unusual. just like Greenbelt 3, where you can choose your own seat blah blah blah... I think the only unusual to 'me' is the price, quite a bit expensive - 45 bucks (P315). And this is the stupidity part, after I got my ticket I rushed to the snack house to buy a medium butter popcorn and a lemon coke and headed straight to the movie house but the ticket girl didnt let me in coz... Im too early for the 6:20 showing (I remember hindi nga pala ito SM, oops... wrong move!). Anyway the movie started at around half past six and ended at 9. It was a memorable experience watching the last Star Wars movie in foreign land!
Phantom Menace 4.22
If yesterday the force is in me, today the force is up to me. By force I mean police and security force... hahaha. Just another stupid act, I forgot to deactivate the security alarm before I enter the office, and the result is complete chaos! I called two of my managers to back me up and two colleagues called me back to know my pathetic condition. Hehehe scary but nevertheless challenging - answering their too-much-interrogative questions and convincing the guards and police that Im not breaking in and Im a bona fide worker of that company and keep telling them over and over again that I just forgot to turn off the fcuking damn alarm (err!). Eventually they got off with me, whew!
Anyway... there's this channel that features the five episodes of Star Wars every Sunday. So far Ive seen the first three episodes I, II (last two Sundays) and III (yesterday). And today Ive watched the forth one, A New Hope, which Ive never seen before, actually. And I have to give Lucas a credit on his first masterpiece, visual effects -- not bad considering that it was created in 1977. I anticipate finishing the complete saga before I rolled off from the project. with you may the force be... everwhat!
Water-based
It never crossed into my mind nor having thoughts that Oracle Inc., the leading database technology provider in the world (i think), can come up to an idea of producing their own natural spring water... how's that?!
I went to our pantry to get something drink then I saw this strange-looking H2O bottle near the sink. I looked closer and to my surprise, it's labeled as ORACLE.
I wonder what's the connection of a spring mineral water to their major product which is database? hahaha
Hmmmm... just curious if they also have an ORACLE cookies (har har)
Kick-Ass Job
Hate your job? well, not until you hear this and probably do it ... nyahahaha Drew just made my day! despite of my nerve wracking work I had today. I read his blog and it's really a stress reliever especially when you're going to do it... hehehe. So for those who hate their current job too, read it on...
I hate my Job!
When you have an "I Hate My Job" day, try this. On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson and Johnson. Be very sure you get this brand.
When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains, disconnect the phone and silent your mobile so you will not be disturbed.Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair, open the package and remove the thermometer.
Now, carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken. Now the fun part begins - Take out the literature and read it carefully.
You will notice that in small print there is a statement,
"Every rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested".
Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times, "I am so glad I do not work for quality control at Johnson and Johnson.
"HAVE A NICE DAY AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS WORSE THAN YOURS."
Lucky Me
others believe, others do not. nevertheless, its still friday the 13th and it's truly a bad and unlucky day for me. But who cares, everything for me are just a coincidences or its just happens for a reason.
anyway, this are the things that happened today. you decide if it really a badluck day for me.
alas:i was supposed to wake up early this morning but it didn't happened
luckily: i got extra hours of sleep and rest
alas:i was supposed to present report regarding the current program that im working with but apparently i wasn't able to finished it,
luckily: they've given me an extension to finish it during weekend. hehehe
alas:i only had a hundred bucks in my pocket, the team went out for a lunch today and we ate at a resto where all food are spicy (whew!) and spent a whopping 60 bucks (ouch!).
luckily:the food is worthy enough
see, its not unlucky day after all. good and bad things always compromise. and face the facts that whenever it maybe, bad things always happen you just have to face it and be prepared.
btw: i wonder where did the so-called 'friday the 13th' originated? and what's with the number 13? (hehe don't usually listens to freaky stories)
Amber
This day is totally a hell day. First, i was supposed to wake up at five in the morning to start my whole week right but apparently my alarm didn't ring or probably i just didn't hear it. Anyway my fault, i slept at around 2:30AM so i woke up late, really really late and so i came to the office late!
Today im starting my work without a manager again (he left last friday for another project in China). So I'm all alone working with the project (err!).
Lunchtime (the climax), it w's slightly raining but I still went outside to get something to eat. When i was to go back... damn it! it's now an amber rainstorm (don't ask me what's an amber rainstorm coz i also have no idea what it is, i just heard it from the news yesterday).
Bottomline - I can't work properly because of the annoying weather and I'M WET! (err...).
