Baby's Day Out
We (I, my mom, my two aunts and an officemate friend) went to Ocean Park today. And it was so freaking fun!At around nine, all packed and good to go, we're heading our way to Ocean Park. And after an hour, whaala Ocean Park na. Ang pretty ng place, it is located in both sides of the mountain with a full view of the ocean (kaya nga ocean park eh, heller!). Tapos if you want to cross at the other side of the park you need to ride a cable car that starts from one side of the mountain then passes up towards the peak and down from the other side (sarap ng feeling). The first ride that we rode is the Mine Train a.k.a EK's Space Shuttle with no loops pero ang lalim ng mga babagsakan mo, kaya sumakit ang aking tyan after that. My mom and my aunts didn't try it coz they're scared daw hehehe... kaya kami n lang ng friend ko, and we took it as a dare. After that, we walked and went higher until we reached the third level of the park. From there, we've decided to split into two groups and meet at lunch break na lang, so kaming dalawa ng friend ko tapos my mom and two aunts.
So our first adventure ng friend ko was to go at the Ocean Park Tower para maview namin ang buong theme park pero boring, hindi kami natuwa. Next stop, sa cable car. Tinawid namin yung kabilang side ng bundok para makita namin yung other side ng Ocean Park and it took about 10-15 mins to get at the other side. Kaso nga lang we went back after we reached the other end kasi lunch time na, time to meet the other group. I saw my mom on the way, sabi nya naglunch na daw sila tagal daw kasi namin dumating (err!). So my friend and I went to get lunch and I told my mom to meet again after. Eh kaso hindi namin sila mahagilap after our lunch so we've decided to roam around sa aquarium na lang and meet them later at the dolphin show.
After ng aquarium, nagrides ulit kami. We tried the EK version of Space Shuttle with three loops and lots of sideway-turns. After that, feeling ko para akong binugbok ang sakit ng mukha ko hehehe. At hindi pa nagtatapos ang aming adventure ng friend ko. Sumakay kami agad sa Anchors Away at sa dulo pa kami nakaupo kaya ayun nanghihina na ang tuhod namin pagbaba sa ride. Ops ops ops... hindi pa dyan nagtatapos ang kalokohan namin. Sumakay kami ng Elevator, eto yung tipo ng rides na sasakay ka with feet hanging tapos aakyat kayo sa tuktok in a 90 degree straight angle (siguro kasing taas sya ng 15-storey building). Tapos pagnasa taas na kayo bigla kang ilalaglag at high speed for 3 rounds. Pucha ang sakit sa tyan parang naiwan yung kaluluwa ko sa taas nung paglaglag. After riding three consecutive excruciating rides, tumigil na kami kasi bangag na kami, we went to the ocean theatre to meet the other group and watch the dolphin show. Grabe nahilo talaga ako dun.
The dolphin show was totally cool, astig yung mga dolphins at sea lions, wala akong masabi... kaso lang parang bitin ang bilis kasing natapos. On the way out, the people were crowded ang dami kasing nanood, parang ngang Avril Live in Manila yung scene sa sobrang dami ng lumalabas. After the fantastic show, time to let them try the 'cable car' experience, kaya nagcable car ulit kami ng friend ko with my family na. One of my aunt is scared of heights, kaya nung nasa loob kami ng cable car takot na takot sya but eventually na-overcome nya rin kasi no choice sya, hehehe. At the other side we were supposed to go to a Panda show but due to unlimited time bumalik kami ulit kaagad sa pinanggalingan namin (hanggang 6 lang kasi ang Ocean Park)... yah I know bitin talaga, err! It was 20 minutes before closing we rushed down the hill to try one last ride, the Raging Water (version of EK's Jungle Log Jam). Pina-upo ko yung friend ko sa harap para pagslide down sya yung mababasa hindi ako kaso baliktad ata, ako yung mas nabasa hindi ko alam kung bakit, err! Tapos nabasag yung eyeglass nung isa kong aunt kasi nasa likod sya tapos pagslide down nadaganan sya nung isa kong aunt na nasa harap nya, hehehe ganun talaga... ang ginawa ko kinuha ko na lang yung wand ko tapos sabi ko 'centrificus totalus' tapos ayus na, hehehe joke ano it Harry Potter?! Actually minighty bond ko sya nung paguwi namin.
My gulay, we're all tired and exhausted after pero hindi halata because we're still smiling kahit mukha na kaming bangag... we really enjoyed the hella-of-kind experience yun nga lang bitin, err! Paguwi ang katapat lang ay isang masarap na dinner with my loved ones. Surely, I won't forget this experience. Oh sya tapos na ang kwento ni Lola Basyang... tulog na!!!
Next stop - Disneyland HK!!! (kaso tagal pa eh, September pa). Pero ayus lang I can wait naman eh, wait ka lang Mickey and the gang makakapunta din ako dyan.
